Update May 2022: Bhante Sumano and Bhante Tāṇakāro both decided to disrobe and have since returned to lay life. A huge thank you to everyone who supported their journey!

Bhante Sumano (he/him) is a Buddhist monk. He is interested in how ancient and contemporary approaches to religion, art, science, and philosophy, inform contemplative practice in late modernity—an age of ecological crisis, technological advancement, and rapid social change.

Bhante Tāṇakāro (he/him) is a Theravāda Buddhist monk and devotee of Buddhadhamma with a heart bent on self and collective liberation. He aims to take what he learns and share it so that—whether one lives somewhere rife with or in scarcity of Buddhadhamma—they may find, hear, and experience the Dhamma: the peace to be found in the practice.
